To stop Africa's brain drain you have to change the anti-education mindset and culture that are still holding African governments. Africa’s brains drains are creatures of habit with Africans own personalities and customs. What can you expect from a country such as the DR Congo, natural resources scandalously endowed country, which is led by an anti-education leader with a fake university degree delivered by non-existing university. Because of the country’s culture, few among its elite ever protest against such an anti-education attitude. As a result, a member of the lower house of the parliament earns over 6,000 USD/month while university professor or a medical doctor has about 150 USD/month. Brief, Africa’s best brains can be kept within itself only with a new mindset that values education, rewards competences and cultivate fair redistribution.
